Great find, Joe. The article also speculates on why the yacht is being sold. The news story states:
Another reason that SEVA may be looking for liquidity is the ongoing problems with the Ivory's Rock Conference Centre, Queensland, Australia....Despite an estimated $30 million of construction works the Conference Centre remains unprofitable with a $10 million plus debt burden that is proving difficult to restructure.
The fact that the IRCC is unprofitable is not news to anyone here. But, the difficulty in restructuring the debt burden is interesting. Banks probably don't want to restructure because the IRCC is built in a remote location. And, correct me if I'm wrong, but Queensland does not need a 30 million dollar palatial commune, replete with secluded living accomodations for a paranoid cult leader.
I can't really think of anything else the IRCC could become, if Rawat put it up for sale. Well, maybe a nudist colony for the rich and famous. Anyone else have ideas?
