I remember about 15 years ago, the first time I went to Cirque du Soleil, somebody invited me and one of the first acts was a group of about five women contortionists.  I don't think I had ever seen an act like that before.  I remember thinking it was simultaneously beautiful and a freak show.  These women had no bone structure at all.  They were make of latex.
