Jim,

The jokes Rawat tells are all old, stale, worn out passe jokes and can be found on any internet joke website or in The Reader's Digest.  And there's nothing "hysterically" funny about them -- except that premies think that it's God Incarnate telling the jokes and it gives them an extra large tickle.  I remember that feeling very well.  "My goodness!  He's the Lord AND he can tell a joke!"   Especially those "insider, God made the universe and talks to angels" ones:  wink, wink, wink.

Anyhow, this the epitome of Rawat arrogance if I ever heard it.

People, he said, claimed that they want freedom. He mentioned that in a jail in Delhi, four prisoners received Knowledge. Then he said that they do not have freedom, but they have peace. Peace is what we need, he said.

The fact is that Prem Rawat knows so little about people and human nature (except how to exploit it) and he's not good at faking it.  I wonder if he realizes how stupid and transparent he sounds to normal people?  The arrogance of the guy is breathtaking.  And why the hell do the premies need a yet another Knowledge review, if it's such a simple thing?   That's a lot of money to pay for same damned thing, over and over and over in one's life.
