If someone takes time to communicate with their elected officials, they indeed do take time to respond to their constituents.  They don't call them back personally, but they make sure that their staff does.  That's a fact and I have extensive experience with this both in Vermnot and Connecticut.  Ever try it?

The Governor of Michigan is a good woman.  I'm sure if she had known she was providing an honor to a cult leader, well, she wouldn't have.
