Hi, I was not referring to schizophrenia - I used to work with long-term schizophrenics and I know that's a whole different thing.  I was thinking more of multiple personality-type disorders, and using a term that may or may not be recognised by everyone, even psychiatrists - I'm certainly not in any way qualified.  I like to think about things from different angles, and I simply see contradictory behaviours and can use my own understanding of the way the mind works to posit some explanation, aside from the 'he's evil' kind of thing.  Psychologists/psychologists don't have all the answers about the brain/personality, do they?  Sorry if I made it look like I have any more understanding of the mind than anyone else, but I do know a bit about emotions.

I want to get to a possible alternative strategy of dealing with m/premies, something that allows people both sides of the fence communicate without blame and help end miragey's empire of falsehood.  I try to see the bigger picture and not get too stuck on details, being more of a creative kind of mind and entirely non-scientific.  Scientists are still debating nurture/nature, so there's a long way to go...
