Well, may be some true believing Nazis were a sort of cult victims. The son of Baldur von Schirach (1907-1974), the former Hitler youth leader and later the Gauleiter (regional Nazi-party leader) of Vienna, said in an interview that his father came out of his 20 years imprisonment as a broken man, because he realized what his misguided idealism had led him to do.
