I just found out that instead of pasting a link to an image in the Image URL textbox down below that I can drag and drop the image right into the editbox.  I'm guessing that you need MS IE to do this and the WYSIWYG editing mode which is a setting in the User Panel.

However, dragging an image that was also a link opened up the page and I lost what I had typed.
