It is very difficult to see the TPRF/RVK 'tsunami initiative' as not being self serving - it may not be- but it seems so obviously flawed that the only other explanation is that TPRF/RVK is driven by an arrogant disregard for the expertise that other organisations clearly possess and which TPRF and RVK do not.

Despite the utter contempt in which I hold Rawat & the inner circle which can only be described as his courtiers, I find it difficult to believe that they would deliberately seek to profit financially from this unprecedented disaster, & do what they have been so good at doing in the past, ie spending the major part of charitable donations on Rawat's personal comfort.

Having attempted to reinvent the man & start him off again with a new reputation as a philanthropist, they find themselves in the, I'm sure embarrassing, position of almost being obliged for pr reasons to show they are doing something. Perhaps a spokesman will inform us of how much the Foundation has already pledged from its existing funds & to whom.

Go on Prem, a couple of million to Save the Children or similar might make me think you've turned over a new leaf. Soliciting other people's money to go to your personal Indian fiefdom where not a leaf moves, just won't do it.
