The everyday christians (in New York, in this case) seem to have taken some notice of this general move away from calling the holiday what it is.  A newsperson was asking this one young guy what he was going to call it, since the word "christmas" seemed to be banned...... I expected a typical "new york" answer, but this was hilarious.  His unabashed answer was:

"ALL HAIL THE BIRTH OF OUR SAVIOR DAY!"

I just about lost my breakfast, I was laughing so hard.
