.... and can't remember the premie state of mind. Of course, I can't guarantee that all premies have the same state of mind, but from discussions amongst ex-premies, there is remarkable similarity. Let's try a few common beliefs:-

The ultimate reality is something practicing Knowledge reveals.
The experience of Knowledge is revealed by the grace of the Perfect Master.
This world isn't the ultimate reality (in fact it's illusion).

These concepts/beliefs were with me for over 25 years. Now you tell me how they could not have caused damage? Of course I took my job and my marriage reasonably seriously. Of course, I tried to handle my money reasonably sensibly. I even valued my friends and family, but I know I would have valued them far more without the beliefs I had. Six years after rejecting Rawat I am still amazed at the effect his belief system had on me, and yet if you had observed me from outside (as you seem to do with your premie acquaintances) you would have said the same about me as you do about them.

This is a harmful cult that causes damage to its members. If you don't understand that, maybe you haven't dropped your own cult conditioning after all these years. Do you still have irrational fears around premies?

John.
