The account went like this. There was a devotee called Gary Gerrard and one day Balyogeshwar, Supreme Lord of Yogis,Lord of all the universes, now known as Prem Rowatt, inspirational speaker, broke Gary's nose with a stick.

I don't remmeber whether Gary complained about this or just sqealed in pain, but I do remember the response, and it was "Would you rather I didn't touch you?'.

Ron Geaves, explained to me that Prem Rowatt was trying to teach Gary devotion.

Now, I do not know Gary Gerrard. So I cannot verify the truth of the story. However I can verify that it was told to me by Ron Geaves.
