...died recently and here is an excerpt from his life story. He is of particular interest to me because he gave me a 30 minute radio time when it was a 'no smacking day' dealing with corporal punishment towards children. I was on because my daughter had just been expelled from a Steiner school kindergarten because we had complained about one teacher hitting the kids. Some of you might remember that I posted about this of the other forum. Anyway, for those of that remember Michael Parkinson, you will enjoy this excerpt(even though it's in the Daily Mail :>  ).Here's one small part that reminds me of Rawat We always refused to accept any preconditions on an interview. That is why I never interviewed Barbra Streisand [she insisted on setting the questions and doing the interview in the US] and why it took many years before I finally interviewed Madonna. LL&P Jethro
