It's taken me a long time to get back on the roll with the clay, it feels good and I have started the next bowl, but it will be the litmus test of my viability, as I am so sad with my lovely old cat getting near the end. she is under the banana trees now, I have built her a shelter, she is in good spirits, keen to eat but not managing much, getting very thin. The best thing is milk with an egg yolk and a little sugar in it - I went and got fried fish for her yesterday but she has only eaten little bit.
Point of historical interest, sort of - one of the snuggly things in her shelter is a woollen shawl my grandfather knitted when he was in hospital recovering after the first world war. Does the job, no cold wind can get through such thick Scottish wool.
