Not really proud of my country now. Sure, the popular vote elected a Democrat to the White House and the Senate is evenly split by the addition of the two crucial Georgia Senate seats that were won by the massive get out and vote efforts of the people, mostly blacks, there that made it happen.

And now the Republican majority in the Georgia State Senate has made easy voting much more difficult. Why? So, they can retain power even though they are quickly becoming a minority in this country.

The sick thing to me is that they bring you up in school telling you all about democracy and voting all that good stuff and then you slowly learn it's all BS and as Trump said "it's rigged". Yes, the Republicans are rigging it so they don't lose again. The hell with the majority voters. To hell with what is right and what is fair. The Republicans will cheat to win. They don't care.

I'm really having a hard time with this shit and I really fear that the Republicans and even Trump will be back in force in 2024. I can't do another 4 years with Trump. That was all quite insane and nasty and racist.

Yep, "A republic, if you can keep it."

I fear the republic will be lost. And lost to a real shitty bunch of racist sore losers.
