This is the point & I have no idea of the answer, though like you I doubt it because it's not just testing & tracing, it's testing, tracing, & quarantine; in a dedicated isolation hospital for those too ill to recover at home.

This final part of the process is never mentioned & it can't work without it. Unfortunately this is the traditional & only method for containing an untreatable epidemic. If done correctly it will work eventually.

There are small indications that the PTB here might be starting to get it, but we'll wait & see.

One thing is crystal clear...... bullshit won't work on viruses.
