I see it the same way.
We've got off pretty lightly so far in the SW. Though someone with an allotment on my patch died yesterday of it.
Interesting that Africa has gotten off so lightly so far. It affects black people badly in the north, but maybe there's enough sun in Africa so they get their vitD? Maybe because they're not so obese? Or maybe because fewer of them were lingering at death's door anyway, like so many in developed countries, propped up by the sophisticated health services.
