I have already read about some of those cases and basically assumed what she is advising, but good to hear it from a scientist in the field. Also she goes into much more detail than you usually can read about.
The grocery store part was interesting. I have wondered why here in Germany there has not seemed to have been a big problem of supermarket cashiers getting sick. Masks have only been required recently. During the height of our first wave of contagion no one was wearing masks in supermarkets. She basically makes the point here that short moments of interaction have a low risk of transmission. What they did do fairly early though is install plexiglass at the cashiers to protect them.
