I'd be willing to wager heavily that the premature 'reopening' while disregarding the CDC's rule/suggestion to have 14 days of declining cases, will lead to a virus rebound because people are just too stupid to understand what is really happening. And after the rebound begins the lockdown should, hopefully, be put back on.
I talked to a friend yesterday and she said that one of her children's significant other's mother had died of COVID-19. Ok, it's like 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon, but if there is a virus rebound as I suspect there will be, we will all sooner or later know someone who had the virus and recovered or had the virus and died.
Again, reopening should not be considered an 'ALL CLEAR' because it's not all clear. The virus is still here and unless somehow the summer heat in the northern hemisphere puts a damper on the virus we're all going on a big ride to hell.
In short, expect many deaths, IMO.
