Funny to hear you dismiss freedom that way. But the issue was whether or not the left is celebrating how the virus is enabling radical change as exemplified by some of the voices in that article -- and so many more. In the states, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and the mouthy congressional airhead, AOC, have all been near-gleeful over this.
I don't think that the virus was a manufactured "gain of function" product but that it did emerge from the lab somehow. Still the Chinese allowed millions to fly to the outside world even as they barred all travel from Wuhan to anywhere else in China. They knew. This is downright evil and nothing Trump, Johnson said or did even closely compares.
Your minimizing the role of China and drawing false equivalencies to what Trump and Johnson have done is what's predictable.
You can't help but blame them for everything -- only to accuse me of being so inclined to look for someone to blame.
