Maybe I don't get it, but I believe that the wearer of a mask is somewhat protected.
Otherwise, why would the Docs and nurses wear PPE while on duty. I think that they are protecting themselves from the virus. If the patients already have the virus then why do the healthcare workers bother wearing the PPE?
Sure, if you have your nose and mouth covered and someone who has the virus coughs on you the virus can probably get into you via the eyes.
I am finding the 'information' on masks is a bit confusing. Nevertheless, I wear a mask because (1) I don't want to get the virus and (2) if I have the virus I don't want to spread it in that order.
