I'm bad, really bad, but we need Charlie Manson alive.  We need a real bogey man like old Charlie to keep us all company in such dark times.

Other than Jim Jones and Marshall Applewhite of Heaven's Gate, old Charlie was one of the ultimate evil cult leaders.  The drugs and sex and the killings.  Helter skelter and all that.
