I think the Vatican is someplace people should go for the history and the art.  I am still thankful that I ditched some of Rawat's Rome 1977 to do a little sightseeing of Rome that included the Vatican.  However, I'm still kicking myself for not making it to the Sistine Chapel which was only open til noon. The Mormon Tabernacle?  Hmm, I guess so for historical reasons, but as religions, IMO, it's pretty out there. And I would be concerned for the children because of possible indoctrination at regular churches and mosques, etc.
