People generalize. It's natural, unavoidable and, so long as it's always subject to the fair impact of specific qualifying information, there's nothing wrong with it. The young Muslim father is being squeezed by the words and actions of his co-religionists. Too bad for him. Maybe he should either fight to make them behave properly or perhaps do some serious thinking to understand why this is even a problem. At some point, he might even have to repudiate Islam. Why not? It's just an ideology. If it has enough sinister elements that somehow lead to these sex crimes, why would he want to have anything to do with it? Oh I know. The easy thing for him to do is lie to himself. Oh well.
