I had a friend who committed suicide due to his belief that he could never surrender to our former guru. Also knew a few who got seriously sick due to not eating properly,since they wanted to avoid desire.

Deeply sorry about your friend...I know that pain all too well. Overall it doesn't matter, but is this a recent loss? The anniversary of my Dad's suicide was yesterday...thirty five years now...and yesterday. I have no comforting words...just the ability to sit with you in the pain of loss by suicide because of the guru...tough day yesterday. Love, Genny

My friend died in 1975 after a couple other failed attempts. Still think of him when I look at this page. At the time, we did not blame Rawat in anyway. Shortly after that, he started mentioning that K won't cure your mental problems after making fun of mind doctors for years.
