Yes. The keys were a set of DVDs intended to prepare an aspirant to receive Knowledge. After completing/watching the Keys over the course of many weeks/months, an aspirant could request to receive Knowledge. After that, Knowledge Sessions were the same as always except that Prem "revealed" the techniques by demonstrating them on video instead of the instructor/mahatma as in our case. The video of Prem demonstrating the techniques was loaded on a highly secure McIntosh laptop dubbed a Mahatma Mac. What you said! Knowledge Sessions were often one or two aspirants, but sometimes a few more depending on how many aspirants in a region completed the Keys and requested to receive Knowledge. They were still a very big deal. I remember a KS team of about five premies who would actually meet the day before to review procedures and rehearse, then meet afterwards to "debrief." Instructor, host/greeter, light switcher, refreshments, SmartCard registrar, AV technician, security guard and so on, not to mention the meticulous set-up. Two days, many hours and all those people for one person, and of course they all had to have fully trained backups. And the venue or hall had to be pre-inspected by a national level honcho and certified as meeting a long checklist of requirements.
