Around 2005 Prem Rawat started broadcasting from a satellite that had some sort of Turkish connection. One hour every Sunday morning a broadcast would be beamed into Australia. I skipped channelsd and saw that the so-called Maharishi and someone known as Master Ching Hai both had 7 days a week 24 hours a day broadcast of their nonsense.

But it wasn't that Rawat was 1 / 168th as rich and successful as Rawat. No, as explained on Wikipedia:

In 1990, the Maharishi relocated his headquarters from Seelisberg, Switzerland, to a former Franciscan monastery in Vlodrop, the Netherlands, which became known as MERU, Holland, on account of the Maharishi European Research University (MERU) campus there.[154][155] During his time in Vlodrop, he communicated to the public mainly via video and the internet. He also created a subscription-based, satellite TV channel, called Veda Vision, which broadcast content in 22 languages and 144 countries

In 1998, Maharishi Open University was founded by the Maharishi. It was accessible via a network of eight satellites broadcasting to every country in the world, and via the Internet

Only the Greeks had myths that went to the heart of the infinite depths of premie service meaninglessness, Sisyphus' and Prometheus' punishments spring to mind
