My grandmother, born 1898 was in an equally silly cult as ours. She used the cold sheet treatment on her children, she got them Dr Scholl sandals and Bircher muesli, both sent over from Switzerland. She was into homeopathics, she had a pendulum for swinging - those are both a bit later but the other is from 20's 30's. She made her children vegetarian. (did not do cold sheets or vego herself). |
