Am I okay?

After I deleted the post, I started thinking about "New Knowledge" and what the techniques might be. They were all variations of "always have doubt in your mind."

"Is peace something that can even be learned?"

"...peace education...spurious as the pursuit of happiness."

Just the thought or relief of dropping those pursuits makes me feel happier and more peaceful. It's as if dwelling on the opposites are prerequisites to those courses. It's as if you have to be unhappy before you can be happy.

You once suggested we're born with a "happiness quotient" that may fluctuate, but basically remains the same over time. I find that to be true.
