In DC, there was a right wing sub cult group known to back benchers as the Fredonites as Fred was their leader. They were strict, literal believers in whatever the guru said. They would simultaneously sigh when the guru said something they deemed profound, like "the fish in the water is thirsty". Fred was kicked out of a few events in DC for interrupting satsang. I later learned that he took his show to Miami. |
