He does it because he seeks 'legitimacy'. He always has, right back to when he was a teenager, hasn't he always been a teenager in the mind of his followers, & was getting the freedom of American cities, arranged by them. He doesn't want anything from the prisoners themselves, what he wants is the recognition from their jailers, & from them to the powers that be, that he might have a solution to an impossible problem. KUDOS.....that's what he wants. |
