I received "knowlege" so-called, in October of 1974 in Santa Cruz, California. However, I don't remember the date! I remember being excited that the next evening some t.v. channel was re-running David Bowie's 1980 Floor Show from the year before.
Other than that, I don't remember the date of the long night I spent learning how to squeeze my eyeballs, plug my ears, hyperventilate and drink snot meditate. I remember being disappointed with the techniques, and I remember enjoying the re-run.
I guess David Bowie will always be more important to me than The Divine Knowledge.
Maybe I'm terribly shallow!
